A nationally known authority on retirement, he has been offering personal planning services for 30+ years to select women and couples nationwide from his riverside retreat in the Saratoga/Lake George/Adirondack region of upstate NY and his home in The Villages, FL.
Bill’s passion for his profession is rooted in his unlikely personal journey. At one time debt-ridden and financially illiterate, he was drawn to the world of personal finance and decided to commit himself to formal education and professional development. While acquiring a deep technical knowledge, he also developed a passion for sharing his insight with others, through both thought leadership in the public sphere, as well as one-to-one guidance with pre-retired and retired individuals.
As a credentialed, qualified, and experienced professional in the areas of personal finance, investment management, and retirement planning strategies, Bill has been seen and heard around the country on hundreds of TV, radio, and other media outlets.
Bill has volunteered time and resources to local youth sports and numerous charitable organizations, including the Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Heart Association and the The Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue. He has also spent time advising individuals at the Financial Planning Clinic (sponsored by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.) and reading for the visually impaired through WMHT’s RISE program. Bill is an organ donor and gives blood regularly.
