That debt and despair led him to the world of personal finance where he began studying, learning, and digging himself out of the hole he had dug himself into.
Bill now has nearly 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is a successful Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, RSP-Certified Retirement Coach, and self-made man. He is the owner of Bill Losey Retirement Solutions, LLC, an independent fee-only registered investment advisory firm specializing in helping women and couples age 55+ create retirement security, peace of mind, and live the best life possible with the money they have.
Bill caters his investment management, financial advice, and retirement consulting services to women and couples who seek to reduce pre and post-retirement risk and generate a predictable, sustainable, increasing stream of income they won’t outlive.

In his leisure time, Billy, as his close friends and family call him, loves to mountain bike, hike, kayak, swim and sing. He is an accomplished vocalist and has performed the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden, the Pepsi Arena, and other sporting venues. Currently, Bill is the lead singer in a vocal duo called The New York Lounge Lizards. He gigs out regularly in upstate New York.
Active in his community, Bill has coached youth soccer and basketball and has volunteered to help raise money for the Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Heart Association. Additionally, he has volunteered his time to advise individuals at the Financial Planning Clinic sponsored annually by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Bill donates blood regularly and formerly was a volunteer reader for WMHT’s RISE program – a reader information service for the visually impaired.
Bill is a graduate of Westchester Community College and Marist College and obtained his certification in financial planning from The College for Financial Planning in Denver.
He has been married for over 30 years to his wife Tori. Together they have three sons.
